Howard, who is now 101 years old, enlisted in the Army in 1942. He entered Germany and Austria on a halftrack in 1945 as part of the victorious U.S. Army. He then spent 50 years in Austria and Italy as an Army civilian employee serving soldiers and their families. You’ll be amazed at the many celebrities he hosted during their visits with our troops.
