Welcome to Episode 46 of the Voices to Veterans podcast. This episode features the story of Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Second Class Keith Bunton, U.S. Navy.

Keith did two deployments onboard the historic aircraft carrier USS Essex (CVA-9) during the Korean War. He worked on the flight deck refueling aircraft about to be launched on strikes in support of United Nations’ forces fighting on the Korean peninsula. After the war, he worked as a metalsmith at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, for thirty-two years. Sadly, he passed away on November 20, 2023.
