Lisa Scottoline’s Mistaken Identity – It Kept Me Guessing
Mistaken Identity was the first book I’ve read by Lisa Scottoline and I really enjoyed it. Although it is book 4 in the series, I had no problem jumping in. As both a lawyer and a legal thriller author, I found the storyline authentic and believable. I really enjoyed Bennie Rosato, who reminded me of a super-competent, tough Philadelphia attorney I worked for in the Navy JAG Corps. Bennie’s dogged determination as a defense counsel illustrates well the moral and ethical dilemmas trial attorneys routinely face. Scottoline sprinkles action and surprises throughout the narrative so I never wanted to stop reading and couldn’t wait to pick up where I left off. I definitely recommend the book and I learned a lot from reading it!
