Episode 55 – Major Sandy Richardson, U.S. Air Force (Retired)
Welcome to Episode 55 of the Voices to Veterans podcast. This episode features the story of Major Sandy Richardson, U.S. Air Force (Retired).
Sandy’s dream of flying started as a boy, watching planes take off and land alongside his father in Louisiana. That dream became a reality in 1971 when he joined the Air Force, where he flew B-52s on Strategic Air Command missions, T-39s transporting VIPs, and C-130s delivering servicemembers and supplies under hazardous conditions.
